The one with the two-day party (and more cake)
I know - it's been over a month and I still haven't finished Allie's 2-year birthday blogs. She's already 25 months old and I'm late posting that blog entry too! At any rate, here is the next installation of the birthday celebrations. This one takes us to Indiana where Vin's cousin Becky had what was basically a two-day party for both Allie and Vin, and to celebrate Jo being here, as well. We drove to Indiana the day after Allie's birthday (Friday July 23rd). This is pretty much what Allie did with her cousins for the next two days:

We arrived at Becky's and Allie immediately went to her pile of presents:
Then we swam in the lake:
After a quick bath, it is almost time for dinner.
The girls get more playtime before we headed to the hotel for the night:
Becky had cheesecake in honor of Allie's birthday but I forgot to take a picture of it. Sorry... But it was yet another cake that Allie did not eat (not that we didn't offer her any). 
The next morning was dark and stormy. No more swimming in the lake? Not to mention it was Vin's birthday! We had a lengthy delayed breakfast at the hotel (long story, don't even get me started):
Finally, after an excruciatingly long (terrible service!) breakfast, we head to Becky's for more fun. The girls immediately started playing together again:
On the plus side, the skies have cleared and it is a beautiful sunny day once again. So we all head out for a boat ride:

Then it is time to eat. Chef Bebe is hard at work preparing our meal while Gabby and Grace dance around serving us (play) food:
And now for more cake! This time it is for Vin
Needless to say, it was yet another cake that Yaya refused to even try.
