Harloth Graf, Naboo Guard

Here’s a portrait of Harloth Graf the Naboo Guard in the Star Wars RPG Sabredart campaign I posted earlier, using Photoshop to pencil and paint the piece. I wish I had a better photo reference of player Stu Cunningham for it, though. Close enough, Stu? Or more work needed? 😉

  1. Cheers Hish, the resemblence is uncanny! I couldn’t figure how you’d got that photo at first, then realised that I’d posted it on one of my Yahoo profiles. 🙂 To be honest, I think it looks too much like me lol, Harloth was my cooler alterego :p My expression in the photo is abit odd and Harl deserves to look slightly more self-confident and alittle cocky. Maybe you could try raising his left eyebrow, dropping the right and giving him a smug, half smile. 😀

  2. Nice work, and if you are looking for one of Jerec send me word I have a few images laying around. Though with Jerec wear mandolarian(sp) battle armor now (Torso, arms and helmet) that is not a major factor….

  3. Harl looks remarkably calm, considering all he’s been through, what with the ‘rebellion’ and all. 😉

  4. I’d put the time in which this “picture was taken” at several months before he fell in with the gang, then got into the little road trip that became the big road trip with all the cops and such after him. Hur hur.
