We spent a short weekend at Clearwater Beach in mid-October. It was quiet, relaxing and warm. Just the perfect beach vacation. We were here in March for almost a week but I totally did not have time to blog about it. We had lots of fun then though. It is fortunate that my current project is in Tampa so it was only an hour’s drive to Clearwater Beach.

This entry will mostly be beach photos with few remarks. I miss the warm and the sunshine as I’m sitting here writing this in Ohio (in December!). Ah well.
We arrived on Friday evening and went straight to the beach to enjoy the water and the sunset.

Then it was Saturday.

At the playground right next door to the hotel they have set up a huge water slide. Guess who begged and begged to go on it:

Sadly neither Vin nor I were together enough to get photos of the girl coming down. I do have a video of it somewhere though.

That evening we were not supposed to go swimming again but Yaya and Adik both wanted to spend some time at the beach (and you know I can’t resist a good beach either) so we went to hang out while it was still light.

And then it was Sunday. We asked for a late checkout and got back out to the beach for some more fun.

Sadly we had to leave and go back to the work hotel. Back to work people! But we sure had a good time at Clearwater Beach. 🙂 Until next time!
