Here’s a quick one using Photoshop, a whole lot of solid layers and brushes, a bit of colour dodge. It’s nothing profound and nothing I’m trying to say. It’s just a graphic tablet exercise without any pre-planned sketches off or on the computer.

Nice drawing! The things I like most are colors and light effects. Keep exercising with the graphic tablet!
I like it a lot. And I like it for what it is – not everything HAS to be with some greater meaning. Nice drawing.
It makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I agree with Kebibi. Sometimes concept drives me crazyyyyy!
very home-y, that’s what roots are about 🙂
Very cute illustration – I like the brush strokes and highlights.
Cute, but it does have an archetypal “lost child” feel to it, I think. What I really like is the way you’ve halved your use of space down the middle – also the expression, colour-choices and highlights – well done!
I like the ‘felt pen’ feel to this one. Nice work Hish. 🙂
