Illustration Friday: Roots

Here’s a quick one using Photoshop, a whole lot of solid layers and brushes, a bit of colour dodge. It’s nothing profound and nothing I’m trying to say. It’s just a graphic tablet exercise without any pre-planned sketches off or on the computer.

  1. Cute, but it does have an archetypal “lost child” feel to it, I think. What I really like is the way you’ve halved your use of space down the middle – also the expression, colour-choices and highlights – well done!
